Speech Language Pathologist (CFY)

Description

We are looking for a CFY or licensed SLP!

Catskill Speech and Swallow Services, PLLC is an SLP owned company dedicated to providing quality employment for clinical fellows (CFY) and licensed speech language pathologists.

A Speech‑Language Pathologist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats individuals with communication, speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. The SLP works collaboratively with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans that support functional communication and improve quality of life.

Key Responsibilities • Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
• Provide therapy using evidence‑based techniques
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes
• Collaborate with families, teachers, physicians, and other professionals
• Educate clients and caregivers on strategies to support communication goals
• Participate in IEP meetings (for school‑based SLPs)
• Maintain compliance with professional, state, and organizational standards
• Use AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) tools when appropriate
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed

Requirements

Qualifications • Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology
• State licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) or eligibility; we provide all guidance and reimbursement for the limited license for CFYs in NY.
• Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary settings
