REQUIREMENTS:

* At least 1 year previous experience in mental health nursing Required
* 2-Year Associates degree required
* Valid Stat of Maine RN license
* BLS Certification required
* CPI training must be current prior to start
* Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills required
* Excellent team player
* Ability to manage stress appropriately and make decisions under pressure
* Flexibility required to provide coverage 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.
* 3+ years of experience

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Psych Services department is an essential member of the patient care team, responsible for direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all assigned areas.
* In this role, the RN will be responsible for developing and periodically updating individualized, interdisciplinary plans of care, evaluating patient outcomes, and identifying available resources for patients.
