We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Cardiology Cath Lab team. The ideal candidate practices independently, provides routine and complex care, and manages the contingencies of clinical nursing in a high-acuity environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation).
Addresses complex psychological, emotional, and social needs of patients and families.
Administers medications and treatments via appropriate protocols and monitors effectiveness.
Documents patient history, symptoms, and care given accurately in the clinical record.
Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients and family members regarding cardiac health. - Requirements

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Experience: 1+ year of experience in a Critical Care or Cath Lab setting preferred; new graduates are accepted.
License: Current RN License (Texas or Compact state).
Certifications:
BLS: Required at time of hire (AHA or Red Cross).
ACLS: Required (Grace period: 30 days for experienced; 90 days for new grads).
Onboarding: Must attend New Nurse Orientation within the first 30 days. - Profession
