Registered Nurse – Progressive Care - Travel - (PCU RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $1940.00 - $2060.00

Travel PCU RN jobs at the facility in Modesto, CA place you in a progressive care unit where you monitor patients with complex conditions, including heart failure, sepsis, and respiratory issues. You will assess patient status, administer medications and IV fluids, provide wound care, and operate specialized equipment. You will closely monitor cardiac and neurological status and educate patients and families on care and self-management. Required qualifications include a current California RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, and experience in progressive care or step-down units. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) are expected. Recommended skills include strong communication, emotional stamina, and the ability to respond quickly to changes in patient condition.
