We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in Havre, Montana. The ideal candidate will assist the surgical team in delivering safe and efficient patient care by preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring surgical instruments and equipment are ready for procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment before procedures.

Arrange and verify surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.

Assist surgeons and other members of the surgical team during procedures.

Maintain a sterile field and follow infection prevention protocols.

Monitor and maintain the availability of surgical instruments and supplies.

Follow established patient safety procedures and operating room protocols.

Assist with surgical counts and specimen handling according to facility procedures.

Participate in rotating on-call duties and holiday coverage as required.

Ensure compliance with applicable clinical standards and policies

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

BLS/BCLS certification.

Relevant Surgical Technologist certification and qualifications.

Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical instruments, and operating room procedures.
