REQUIREMENTS:

* Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

* Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)

* Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; hospice, palliative care, oncology, or med-surg experience preferred

* Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

* Ability to provide compassionate care in emotionally challenging situations

* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Assess patient physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs

* Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans

* Manage pain and symptoms in accordance with physician orders and care plans

* Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely and accurately

* Provide education and support to patients and families regarding disease progression, care plans, and end-of-life needs

* Coordinate care with physicians, social workers, chaplains, aides, and other team members

* Monitor patient status and report changes promptly

* Document assessments, care, and patient responses accurately and timely

* Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning

* Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families during end-of-life care
