To be successful in this role, you’ll need a minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting, with preference given to those with charge nurse experience. An active NY RN license and current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are essential, along with proficiency in EMR systems like EPIC. Flexibility is key as floating may be required, and your solid work history with no unexplained gaps over 60 days will be crucial in demonstrating your commitment to the nursing profession.
