Internationally recognized Theatre Camp, listed as “the coolest camp for kids” by TEEN PEOPLE, located north of NYC seeks Nurse Assistant / Camp Counselor for our 2026 summer season. We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Medical Office Assistant to support our Health Center operations during the summer season. This role combines administrative responsibilities with basic medical support, ensuring smooth coordination between our camp and Middletown Medical.

- We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Medical Office Assistant to support our Health Center operations during the summer season.
- This role combines administrative responsibilities with basic medical support, ensuring smooth coordination between our camp and Middletown Medical.

Key Responsibilities
- Computer & Administrative Tasks
- Access and navigate web-based software platforms such as CampMinder to pull camper records.
- Print and compile all required medical documents, including insurance cards, permission-to-treat forms, physicals, and flow sheets.
- Email completed medical packets to local hospitals promptly and accurately.
- Coordination with Middletown Medical
- Communicate with their nursing team regarding submitted documents.

Counselor Description
Typical duties include:
- Meal Duty- Each meal, six counselors eat before the kids so that they are available to take attendance (to be sure everyone is eating), wander around the dining room (to be sure no one is throwing their food, choking, etc), or need to find a camper missing from the meal.
- Entry Duty- During the day, we do our best to have someone at the entry table by the driveway, stopping visitors and directing them to the front office.
- Floor Duty- During rehearsals and classes, we have a counselor sit on each floor to ensure that no one is skipping a class, no one comes back upset, etc.

Certified Nursing Assistant is preferred.

Basic first aid skills
Fluent reading, writing, and speaking in English required
Ability to strip, sanitize, and remake isolation beds
A driver's license is preferred
Basic computer skills
Child experience is preferred
