Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (RN ER)

Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Job Summary :
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN ER) provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency department. The RN is responsible for rapid assessment, triage, and treatment of patients experiencing acute illness or injury, while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe and effective care.

Key Responsibilities
Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity

Deliver emergency nursing care following established clinical protocols

Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes

Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and emergency treatments as ordered

Assist with trauma care, resuscitation, and life-saving procedures

Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record

Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and care teams

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications
Active RN license (New Jersey or compact license)

Recent Emergency Room nursing experience required

Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and decision-making skills

Ability to work effectively in high-acuity, fast-paced environments

Certifications
BLS – Required

ACLS – Required

PALS and/or TNCC – Preferred
