Adelphi is seeking a Pharmacist to provide services at a facility in Orange County, California. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive pharmacy services to incarcerated individuals within the facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review of all medication orders from prescribers utilizing facility's computer systems.

• Interpret and analyze patient specific medical data.

• Fill orders with correct medication and ensure prescription labels are processed accurately.

• Provide consultation with prescribers regarding drug therapy of patients.

• Supervise pharmacy technicians.

• Handle and maintain all controlled substances records.

• Review pharmacy technician's prepared orders.

• Report pharmacist interventions and quality management (QM) activities.

• Visual checking of all medications dispensed by the automated machine for accuracy.

• Monitor and evaluate patients' drug therapy.

• Any other duties as assigned.
