Clinical documentation is managed through a combination of paper charting and an EMR system, supported by a Dragon dictation system.

The city also serves as a starting point for day trips to coastal towns, beaches, lighthouses, and the Federal Hill district, with additional hands-on experiences such as glass blowing classes available throughout the area.
ABOUT THE CLINICIAN'S WORKDAY
Clinicians will provide outpatient hematology and oncology coverage on-site in Providence, Rhode Island, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, managing 12 to 20 patient encounters per day with a ramp-up period provided toward a target of 20 patients per day. Typical consult appointments are 45 minutes and follow-up appointments are 15 minutes, with flexibility based on clinician preference. No call coverage is required for the APP in this assignment. Board certification in Hematology/Oncology, prescriptive authority, and hospital privileges are required.
