Registered Nurse – Progressive Care - Travel - (PCU RN)
StartDate: 9/28/2026 Available Shifts: 12 D Pay Rate: $2065.00 - $2171.00

The MS/PCU RN position in Birmingham, AL lets you care for patients needing medical-surgical and progressive care at the facility. You will monitor patient conditions, provide stepdown care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe transitions and recovery. Required qualifications include a current RN license in Alabama, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Experience in medical-surgical or progressive care nursing is preferred, including stepdown and long-term ventilator weaning. Recommended skills include strong assessment abilities, adaptability in a fast-paced setting, and effective communication with patients and colleagues.
