Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery - Travel - (LD RN)

Travel RN-LD-LDRP jobs in Rapid City, SD let you care for mothers and newborns through labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum in a facility with a supportive culture and advanced technology. You will monitor both mom and baby, assist with deliveries, manage postpartum care, and document in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, a valid South Dakota RN or Compact RN license, and at least 1 year of recent LDRP or labor and delivery experience. Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and basic fetal heart monitoring certifications are required. Recommended skills include proficiency in high-risk obstetric care, medication administration, rapid response to emergencies, and strong communication. Experience with patient education, postpartum hemorrhage protocols, and EMR systems is valued.
