StartDate: 1/26/2026 Available Shifts: 12 D Pay Rate: $2217.00 - $2354.00

CLINICAL INTERVIEW About Facility: 1901 S Union Ave, Tacoma, WA 98405 Level 4 Trauma Center Certified geriatric ED 130 beds General Information: Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? No, 2 years of recent acute inpatient case management experience required. 4 years of overall nursing experience required Will you accept a first-time traveler? No Patient Types: Inpatient, adults, no peds. Will see ICU, PCU, MedSurg, and ER patients If candidate has predominantly worked at children’s hospitals, they will not be a good fit for here. Will not care for L&D or NICU Patient Ratios: 1:15-20 Required Licensure & Certifications: WA RN License BSN required BLS not required Skills required: Acute care case management experience is a must Healthcare financial and reimbursement knowledge Will do post-discharge planning and provide resources for post-discharge. There is info for community resources that will be provided ER and Utilization Review experience is preferred EPIC experience required Support on the Unit: Leadership Peers CM Assistants Technology/Equipment: EMR: EPIC Floating: If yes, where? Between Allenmore, Tacoma General and possible OCED in Federal Way and Bremerton (June 2025). Traveler first to float if needed. Manager will let traveler know at beginning of shift if they’re going to be floated. Mid shift floating does not happen unless there’s an emergency 2.5 miles apart between Allenmore and TG
