JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS
Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical - Travel - (MS RN)
StartDate: 5/18/2026 Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $2208.00 - $2345.00

Medicine-E4. 36-bed unit The population served includes male and female patients ages 18 and over, with a variety of medical-surgical diagnoses. Age specific needs are assessed and considered in the plan of care throughout the length of stay. Such patients include but are not limited to; post critical care patients, patients needing symptom management, pain management, treatment related to renal disease, diabetes, alcohol withdrawal and opiate withdrawal.

Required Qualifications
Registered Nurse, MS
Experience: 1 year
Licenses: RN-NY
Certifications: BLS-AHA
SSN Required
DOB Required
Work History: Should not be more than 0 days of gap in entire work history
References: 1 Reference in the last 12 months

EPIC Experience
Trauma levels need to be included on every work entry.
Work history must be updated to current date
One reference within the past 12 months from a manager or Supervisor
1 year of experience required at a 600+ bed academic hospital w/passing competency testing score
2 years of experience, no testing required
Competency test required within 48 hours of submission, sent via HSH to candidates email. Please ensure an up-to-date email is provided at time of submission.

Preferred Qualifications
Medical-Surgical certification encouraged.
