Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery - Travel - (LD RN)
StartDate: 5/18/2026 Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $2624.00 - $2624.00

This unit provides antepartum/antenatal and postpartum/postnatal care for maternity patients and normal newborns. Gynecology patients are excluded. Note that this department does not include labor and delivery. Centered in the heart of San Joaquin County, Adventist Health Lodi Memorial has been one of the area's leading healthcare providers since 1952. Position Summary The Labor & Delivery RN provides direct patient care to laboring and postpartum patients, ensuring safe, high-quality care for mothers and newborns. This role requires strong clinical skills, collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and the ability to respond effectively in high-acuity situations. Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent education/experience Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR from approved vendor (BLS, HS-BLS, or RQI per AH policy) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment Preferred Qualifications Acute care or Labor & Delivery experience Advanced education or specialty certification Experience with fetal monitoring and high-risk obstetrics Essential Functions Provide direct nursing care during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum periods Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond to emergent situations Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team members Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care Accurately document patient care and clinical outcomes
