Responsibilities
Procedure Assistance: Assist cardiologists during various procedures, such as cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty, stent placement, and electrophysiology studies.
Patient Care: Prepare patients for procedures, monitor their vital signs and comfort throughout, and provide post-procedure care and education.
Equipment Management: Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot sterile equipment, instruments, and imaging systems, including fluoroscopy machines.
Medication Administration: Administer medications and contrast agents to patients under the direction of a physician.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and procedural documentation.
Emergency Response: Respond to medical emergencies with composure and competence, including performing actions during acute cardiac events.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure a sterile environment and adhere strictly to all safety, infection control, and radiation safety protocols.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

At least 2+ years of experience as a cath lab tech
