Registered Nurse – Progressive Care - Travel - (PCU RN)

Travel PCU RN job in Atlanta, GA: As a Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-acuity, cardiac-focused care to patients at the facility in Atlanta, GA. You will monitor complex cardiac rhythms, titrate cardiac drips, and manage patients with heart failure, post-cardiac procedures, and other advanced cardiac conditions in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Epic EMR is required. Strong assessment, communication, and rapid response skills are essential for this role. Required Qualifications
Registered Nurse, PCU
Experience: 1 year 6 months
Licenses: RN(Compact Accepted)

Required Competencies
• Must be able to independently interpret cardiac rhythms and pass a Dysrhythmia Exam:
o No tech assistance permitted.
o Must pass on the first attempt (no remediation opportunities).
o Exam is paper based, proctored, and requires the use of calipers.
o **Please ask AM for Telemetry Study Guides**

Required Experience
• Minimum 18 months of recent cardiac unit experience
• Must have experience with:
o Cardiac drips listed above
o Telemetry interpretation
o Successfully passing a telemetry exam

EPIC experience
BLS/ACLS/NIHSS required by start date, not required at time of submission.

Preferred Qualifications
Prior Travel
Transplant experience is preferred and will be trained if needed
LVAD experience is preferred and will be trained if needed
