JOB REQUIREMENTS

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provide medical consultations for adult patients in an inpatient Psychiatric setting, treating non-behavioral health conditions such as sore throats, rashes, diabetes, and medication consults.

* Cover emergency department medical consults as needed.

* Perform daily inpatient rounding on a 20-bed unit.

* Collaborate with mid-level providers, social workers, and nursing staff.

* Maintain full-time onsite coverage Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (no telehealth).
