Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. This is a high-volume, high-acuity L&D unit within one of Georgia’s most trusted maternity care systems. Travelers with strong clinical skills, fetal monitoring competency, and L&D experience are highly encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities:
Provide care for laboring mothers throughout the childbirth process.
Perform triage, monitoring, and assessment of maternal and fetal status.
Interpret fetal heart monitoring strips and intervene appropriately.
Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and obstetrical emergencies.
Collaborate with OBs, midwives, anesthesiologists, and neonatal teams.
Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR and follow unit protocols.

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience

Certifications Required:
BLS (AHA)
ACLS
Fetal Heart Monitoring (Intermediate or Advanced)
AWHONN certification (Intermediate or Advanced)
