JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS
Registered Nurse – Progressive Care - Travel - (PCU RN)
StartDate: 12/8/2025 Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $1796.57 - $1979.89

21 bed, 1:4 Ratio Age Groups of Patients: Adults and Geriatric Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: CHF; Afib w/RVR; Hypoxia/SOB; S/P CCLV; S/P CABG/Valve with chest tube/epicardial wires; S/P endarterectomy; BiPAP or CPAP; vapotherm; stable airway/tracheostomy (not requiring frequent suctioning); A-lines; S/P PPM/ICD insertion; S/P VATS/Thoracotomy Any special procedure done on the unit? Arterial sheath removal; Invasive hemodynamic monitoring; Thrombolytic administration. Assessment activities or therapeutic interventions every 2-4 hours; CHEETAH monitoring Common Equipment: Vapotherm (high flow) O2; A-lines; TR bands; IV pumps; wound vacs; Chest tubes; epicardial wires with pacer box; PCA; epidural Titrate Vasoactive Drips- Nicardipine; Nitroglycerin up to 100mcg; Amiodorone bolus/gtt; Dopamine; (Dobutamine/Milrinone @ set rates) Float to NSO, ON, and Tele as needed

Required Qualifications
Registered Nurse, PCU
Experience: 2 years
RN(Compact Accepted)
Certifications: BLS-AHA; ACLS-AHA; CERT-NIH Stroke Scale
SSN Required

Preferred Qualifications
Cerner
Ventilators
