CPH 0010 - RN - MS/TELE

We are seeking a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for the PM shift. This position involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population while monitoring cardiac telemetry and supporting patients in recovery who require continuous observation and medical-surgical management.

The ideal candidate is a critical thinker with strong clinical assessment skills, proficiency in telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct patient care in a Med-Surg/Telemetry setting, including vital sign monitoring and interpretation of telemetry readings.

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications, and assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.

Monitor and respond promptly to changes in patient condition, escalating care when necessary.

Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions to ensure safe continuity of care.

Accurately document patient care, assessments, and progress notes in EPIC or other EMR systems.

Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control protocols, and patient safety standards.

Qualifications:

Active RN License in the state of California (required)

BLS, PALS, NHISS and ACLS Certifications (required)

Minimum 1–2 years of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience (preferred)

Demonstrated proficiency in telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation

Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving, and time management skills

Active RN License in the state of California (required)

BLS and ACLS Certifications (required)
