REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Texas certificate

• Bachelor's degree or higher in special education

• Required dyslexia training or Reading Specialist certification

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide evidence-based dyslexia intervention services in alignment with the Texas Dyslexia Handbook, IDEA requirements, and district guidelines.

• Deliver systematic, explicit, and multi-sensory structured literacy instruction tailored to individual student needs.

• Collect, analyze, and document student progress data to evaluate growth.

• Collaborate with general education teachers, intervention teams, and families to support consistent implementation of instructional strategies.

• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations toward literacy goals.

• Perform other nursing-related duties as assigned.
