SCHEDULE: 40 Hours/Week
SHIFT: 8-Hour Shifts
COMPENSATION: $40–$42/hour
POSITION OVERVIEW
Brenham State Supported Living Center is currently seeking 10 experienced LVN/LPNs for a 6-month commitment, working 40 hours per week.
The facility is seeking strong, competent, reliable, and experienced nurses with a background working with Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), psychiatric populations, and dual-diagnosis patients.
Successful candidates must be able to adapt quickly to changes, learn quickly, work independently, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
AVAILABLE SHIFTS
* 5:45 AM – 2:15 PM: 3 positions
* 1:45 PM – 10:15 PM: 3 positions
* 9:45 PM – 6:15 AM: 4 positions
* 8-hour shifts
* 30-minute break during each 8-hour shift
* Nurses will be scheduled to work 3 weekends per month.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide nursing care and support to individuals at the facility.
* Work effectively with individuals with IDD, psychiatric conditions, and dual diagnoses.
* Adapt quickly to changes in patient needs and the working environment.
* Work independently while also collaborating effectively with the nursing and care team.
* Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality throughout assigned shifts and required training.
* Participate fully in required New Employee Orientation and Nursing Education.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
* Current, unencumbered LVN/LPN nursing license.
* Previous experience working with Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD).
* Experience working with psychiatric populations and dual-diagnosis patients.
* Strong and competent clinical nursing experience.
* Reliable and able to meet the demands of the assignment.
* Ability to adapt quickly to changes.
* Strong learning and adaptability skills.
* Ability to work independently.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Strong communication, reliability, and professional judgment.
