You will assess, triage, and treat patients with urgent and critical conditions, using electronic medical record (EMR) systems. You must have an active Kansas or compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and at least 1-2 years of recent emergency room experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) are often preferred. Recommended experience includes strong critical thinking, adaptability in high-pressure situations, and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
