RN Telemetry travel jobs at the facility in Houston, TX let you deliver high-quality cardiac monitoring and acute care in a large, full-service hospital with advanced cardiovascular and stroke services. You must have an active Texas or multistate compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and at least 1 year of recent acute care RN experience, preferably in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is often preferred. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is recommended. Skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation, patient assessment, and teamwork are important for this role.
