JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Board: Active certification through AANP/ANCC
* Licenses: Active unrestricted TN RN License, TN NP License
* DEA / CDS: Active TN DEA and CDS with TN address and Prescriptive Authority
* Certifications: ACLS, PALS
* Experience: 2 years recent hospitalist NP experience preferred; new grads considered based on site needs
* Other Qualifications: Case logs for past 2 years; Preeclampsia-Eclampsia CME; current immunizations (MMR, Varicella, 2-step TB test) per facility requirements

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Perform comprehensive history and physical exams for admitted patients
* Manage daily inpatient care rounds and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
* Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studies
* Prescribe medications and perform medication reconciliation
* Coordinate discharge planning and provide patient and family education
