Immediate Pediatric Openings
Patient #1 – 17 y/o Male | Zip 33612
Shifts: Wed, Thu, Sat Day (7a–7p); Sat Night (E/O 7p–7a); Sun Day (7a–7p)
Clinical Needs: G-tube, Trach-Vent, Total Care, Hoyer lift
Family Expectations:
Reliability and consistent attendance critical
Collaborative nurse comfortable with engaged caregivers
Strong communication with mother highly valued
Patient #2 – 17 y/o Female | Zip 33614
Shifts: Mon–Sat Night (9p–7a)
Clinical Needs: G-tube, Trach-Vent, Total Care
Family Expectations:
Lives with grandmother, highly involved
Nurse must be confident, experienced with trach/vent, and comfortable with total care
Reliable, consistent, and collaborative with hands-on guardian
Patient #3 – 12 y/o Male | Zip 33637
Shifts: Mon–Fri Day (9a–6p)
Clinical Needs: Cerebral Palsy, G-tube, Hoyer lift, non-verbal communication via facial expressions
Family Expectations:
Nurse must take initiative and guide other caregivers
Strong communication, confident, and able to work collaboratively with family
Comfortable leading day-to-day care and managing multiple priorities
Key Responsibilities
Provide care within scope of licensure and maintain updated clinical records
Evaluate effectiveness of nursing services and consult physicians as needed
Mentor or coach new employees during patient-specific orientations
Educate patients and caregivers on care needs
Participate in FFHC Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs
Attend mandatory training and maintain required documentation
Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and strong communication
Role Qualifications
Required:
Active LPN/LVN or RN license (state or multi-state compact)
Minimum 1 year pediatric/homecare experience preferred
Valid driver’s license and insurance as required
CPR certification with in-person skills check
Clear TB and Hep B screening as applicable
Preferred:
Prior pediatric, trach/vent, or complex care experience
Key Competencies:
Strong verbal and written communication in English
Ability to work independently and collaborate with families
Confidence, reliability, and initiative in patient care
Working Conditions:
In-home care environment
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs without assistance
Use of office machines (phone, computer, printer) for documentation
Additional Details
Flexible shifts, including 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, any day of the week
Travel to patient homes required
