Join Our Compassionate Hospice Team in Pittsburgh!

We're looking for a compassionate RN to join our growing hospice team. Hospice experience isn't required to apply. We're a local hospice managed by a team with over 50 years combined of hospice experience, dedicated to the Pittsburgh region. Please reach out to us with any questions you may have.

This position requires reliable transportation, as you'll be traveling in the Pittsburgh region to wherever our patients call home. It could be an assisted living, a skilled nursing facility, or a personal residence.

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Completes an initial and ongoing assessment of patient and family to determine hospice needs. Provides a complete physical assessment and history of current and previous illness(es).

2. Provides professional nursing care by utilizing all elements of the nursing process.

3. Assesses and evaluates patient’s status.

4. Develops a care plan that establishes goals, based on nursing diagnosis and incorporates palliative nursing actions. Includes the patient and the family in the planning process.

5. Counsels the patient and family in meeting nursing and related needs.

6. Assists the patient with the activities of daily living and facilitates the patient’s efforts toward self-sufficiency and optional comfort care.

Communication is a big part of our company. Staying informed, and keeping others in the loop is critical to a complete care plan.
