FT Day Shift RN Opening at the Stanton County Hospital

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including triage, assessment, treatment, and evaluation
- Utilize MedSurg background to manage diverse patient populations with varying levels of acuity
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient responses in accordance with established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations, including trauma, cardiac arrest, and critical illness
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Function independently and make sound clinical decisions under pressure

What We Require:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas
- Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience (ER experience preferred but not required)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (TNCC preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work evening and night shifts, including weekends and holidays
