Duties:
Assist proceduralist during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases with scrubbing side by side with specialty proceduralist
Strong knowledge of Floor and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic modality machines
The ability to identify, retrieve, and Circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases
The ability to critically think during neuro-interventional cases and complex cases to assist proceduralist
The ability to operate power injection of iodinated contrast media device during diagnostic and interventional procedures
Strong communication skills using closed-loop communication
The ability to maintain sterile technique and maintain infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays for caseload
Positively contribute to a multi-disciplinary team of with nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons
Knowledge of documentation in electronic medical records and send images to Sectra/PACs system
Groin management post-intervention
Demonstrate the ability to provide high-quality care in a fast -paced environment

This role is similar to a cardiovascular technologist ( CVT) but MUST have radiographic licensure to operate x-ray fluoroscopic modalities
Skills:
3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic technologist or a Cardio-Vascular technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.
Required Education:
High School Diploma/GED.
Associate degree. OR
Completion of accredited radiographic program.
Schedule Notes:
5-days a week shifts vary based on department needs with weekend & weekday on-call requirements
Covid Vaccination Required along with the boosters
