Qualifications:

Required:

Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of Florida

Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner

Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain)

Current BLS certification

Ability to provide primary care services across a general patient population



Preferred:

Previous experience in an outpatient or primary care setting

Experience working in occupational health or employer-based clinics

Strong EMR/EHR documentation skills



Job Summary:

The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive primary care services in an outpatient clinic setting. This role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients, as well as promoting overall health and wellness. The provider will work independently and collaboratively to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.



Key Responsibilities:

Perform patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.

Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.

Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests.

Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.

Collaborate with clinical staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.

Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of Florida
Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner
Ability to provide primary care services across a general patient population
