The Respiratory Care Practitioner II provides respiratory care services to patients across acute-care settings. Responsibilities include conducting respiratory assessments, providing airway care, administering respiratory treatments, managing and monitoring mechanical ventilation, evaluating patient responses, and communicating clinical findings with physicians and other members of the healthcare team. The role supports patients with both acute and complex respiratory conditions.

Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy/Respiratory Care program
Current Virginia Respiratory Therapist license
CRT or RRT credential through NBRC or applicable credentialing body
Current BLS certification
Knowledge of ventilator management and airway care
Acute-care experience preferred
Ability to work night shifts
