REQUIREMENTS:

* Valid Occupational Therapy state license or proof of eligibility
* Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel as required.
* Adhere to treatment schedules, clinical and billing documentation, and attend work-related meetings.
* Participate in patient care conferences and related meetings.
* Refer patients to other disciplines or agencies as needed.
* Consult with rehabilitation team members to select appropriate therapeutic regimens.
* Adapt treatment plans to individual patient needs.
* Ensure a safe environment and eliminate fire and safety hazards.
* Order necessary supplies and equipment.
* Clean, maintain, and report equipment repair needs.
* Prioritize patient service to provide high-quality care in a compassionate atmosphere.
* Screen, examine, and evaluate patients to establish diagnoses, treatment plans, and goals.
* Design and apply adaptive devices, and train patients in their use.
* Select activities suited to patients' abilities and interests.
* Instruct patients in skills for functional activities and evaluate their progress.
* Perform routine reexaminations to adjust treatment plans.
