Description

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in urgent care in Tallahassee, FL. This is a great opportunity for providers looking for consistent shifts with a reputable outpatient urgent care network.

Responsibilities include:

- Provide comprehensive urgent care services to patients of all ages
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries
Perform physical exams and obtain medical histories
- Order and interpret labs and X-rays
- Perform minor procedures (e.g., suturing, splinting, basic ortho care)
- Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal guidelines

Requirements

- Active Florida NP License
- Board Certified
- DEA required
- 1 year of urgent care experience
