Job Description
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable CT Technologist for a weekend assignment at Redwood Memorial Hospital in Fortuna, CA. This facility carries a Trauma Level 3 designation and expects the CT Tech to perform a full range of diagnostic procedures across multiple body systems, both with and without contrast.

Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of CT scans, including trauma and contrast-enhanced studies

Conduct X-ray exams as required (see details under "Skills")

Prepare patients for procedures and ensure safety and comfort

Maintain accurate documentation and charting using Epic EMR

Follow all radiation safety guidelines and hospital protocols

Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure timely imaging support

Float between like units as needed to meet hospital demands

Maintain CT equipment and report malfunctions promptly

Key Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of recent CT Tech experience required

Weekend availability is mandatory (Sat–Mon)

First-time travelers are welcome

Local candidates (within 50 miles) accepted

Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Experience:

2+ years in a hospital or trauma environment preferred

Proficiency in high-acuity CT procedures including contrast use

License/Certifications:

ARRT (CT) – Required

ARRT (R) – Required

BLS (AHA) – Required

Preferred: ACLS, Fluoroscopy
