JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS
Registered Nurse – Intensive Care - ICU - Travel - (ICU RN)
StartDate: 1/5/2026 Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $2319.00 - $2462.00

Patient Population: The patient population consists of male and female adult patients experiencing actual or potential life-threatening cardiac dysfunction which may include cardiac dysrhythmias, active MI's, cardiac arrest, CHF, cardiomyopathy, and cardiogenic shock. Number of Beds: 17 bed cardiac critical care unit Unit staffing description-11 beds are 1:2 RN: patient ratio, 6 less acute beds are 1:3 Type of equipment: cardiac devices including TVPs, IABPs, Impellas (right and left ventricular assist devices), PA/Swan catheters. Other ICU equipment including ventilators and telemetry monitoring Documentation system: EPIC Floating policy: to areas with competency - AMC has an internal float team that assists with staffing. Patient Experience requirements: 2 years of cardiac ICU

Required Qualifications
Registered Nurse, ICU Licenses: RN-NY Certifications: ACLS(Copy needed); BLS(Copy needed) SSN Required DOB Required References: 1 Reference in entire work history 1. NY license (#/exp). Can submit without an active NY RN. Must have a US SSN to submit.
2. 1.5 years of 600+ bed academic hospital experience or 2 years of total (traveling + perm) experience
3. Trauma level 1 is required. Trauma levels MUST be included on applicants resume and be accurate
4. EPIC Experience
5. Professional references must be recent - no more than 1 year old
6. Non-local- see excluded counties in internal notes
