Registered Nurse (RN) – Unit Manager, Rehabilitation

Location: Camden, ME

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated RN Unit Manager to oversee nursing operations in a rehabilitation facility. The RN Unit Manager will supervise nursing staff, coordinate patient care, ensure compliance with healthcare standards, and support quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily nursing operations within the rehabilitation unit.

Supervise, guide, and support nursing staff to ensure quality patient care.

Develop, implement, and monitor individualized patient care plans.

Monitor patients' conditions and coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

Ensure accurate clinical documentation and compliance with facility policies.

Administer and oversee medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.

Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance management.

Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and regulatory standards.

Address patient and family concerns professionally.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support rehabilitation goals.

Requirements

Current and valid RN license in Maine.

Current BLS certification.

Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Rehabilitation or long-term care experience preferred.

Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to lead a nursing team and manage multiple priorities effectively.
