Job Description

What you will be doing: Clinical Laboratory Scientist
• Perform technical procedures and quality control in the Clinical Lab.
• Operate and maintain lab instrumentation.
• Take necessary steps to ensure accurate reports.
• Perform phlebotomy and clerical tasks as needed.
• Act in a caring, courteous, and confidential manner towards patients, visitors, colleagues, and staff.
• Perform duties and accept the responsibility of the accuracy of work.
• Maintain confidentiality of all reports.
• Maintain integrity of patient sample identification.
• Perform tasks to aid in lab compliance with regulatory standards.

Experience you will need: Clinical Laboratory Scientist
• Must have a California CLS License.
• Must have a bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience functioning as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
• Knowledge of lab procedures and quality control.
• Experience operating and maintaining lab instrumentation.
• Experience complying with regulatory standards.
