Travel Telemetry Nurse jobs in Portland, ME place you in a 700+ bed Level 1 Trauma center known for its supportive environment and comprehensive inpatient care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients. Portland offers a vibrant waterfront, historic charm, and easy access to outdoor recreation. Coastal Maine location about 2 hours north of Boston. You must have an active Registered Nurse (RN) license and at least 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience. You should be skilled in reading telemetry strips, monitoring, and managing medication drips such as diltiazem, amiodarone, insulin, Lasix, and bumex. Experience with chest tubes, vacuum dressings, cardiac catheterizations, and pacemakers is required. Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) systems is recommended.
