CT/X-Ray Technologist

Description

The CT/X-Ray Technologist performs diagnostic imaging examinations in an emergency care environment using CT and X-ray equipment. The position involves preparing and positioning patients, selecting appropriate imaging techniques, operating diagnostic equipment, producing high-quality images, following established radiation-safety procedures, and documenting examinations accurately. The technologist works closely with physicians and radiologists to support timely diagnostic evaluation of patients.

Requirements

Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program
ARRT certification/registration in Radiography
CT credentialing/certification as applicable
Current Virginia authorization/licensure as applicable
Current BLS certification
CT and X-ray experience preferred
Knowledge of radiation safety and patient positioning
