Sable Corporation is recruiting a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide safe, compassionate care for mothers and newborns at Saint Francis Medical Center.

Assignment

Base pay: $73.50 per hour.

Listed dates: October 26, 2026–January 24, 2027. Confirm the start date with the recruiter because the order also indicates ASAP availability.

Day shift: 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. Anticipated planning schedule: three shifts and 36 paid hours per week. The planning calculation uses a 12.5-hour clock window less a provisional 30-minute unpaid meal per shift. Paid hours, meal arrangements and actual workdays must be confirmed by the recruiter with the facility before placement. This planning schedule is not a guarantee.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.

Provide care within RN scope of practice and maintain Birthplace standards.

Guide patient and family education and coordinate with other nursing personnel.

Recognize and respond promptly to changes in condition or treatment response.

Maintain a safe environment and use the appropriate chain of command to protect mothers and newborns during antepartum and postpartum care.

Qualifications

Active California RN license and two years of relevant experience.

BLS and AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring certification.

Complete the applicable Prime/Sable certifications, skills checklist, references, and onboarding requirements, including the existing L&D credential package.
