JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Board: NP – Active certification through AANP or ANCC FNP preferred; PA – Active certification through NCCPA

* Licenses: Active unrestricted MI license, MI Controlled Substance license, DEA with MI address, prescriptive authority

* DEA / CDS: Active DEA with MI address and MI Controlled Substance license required

* Certifications: ACLS through AHA required

* Experience: New grads accepted; new graduate training program available

* Other Qualifications: Two years of case logs required; Medical Director approval required for Delineation of Privileges; In-person hospital orientation required before privilege approval

DUTIES & RESPONSIBIILITIES

* Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in a hospitalist setting.

* Conduct patient histories, physical examinations, and develop treatment plans.

* Perfrm and document medical procedures within the scope of practice and delineation of privileges.

* Collabrate with attending physicians, specializedists, and multidisciplinary care teams.

* Adhere to facility credentialing, privileging, and hospital orientation requirements.
