Impetus Health is a licensed Georgia home-care agency and approved Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP) provider specializing in skilled nursing care for medically complex children in the comfort of their homes.

We’re looking for compassionate, skilled and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our growing pediatric nursing team.

Our mission is to provide exceptional nursing care while supporting the children and families who depend on us.

Position Overview

We are seeking LPNs interested in flexible scheduling, meaningful one-on-one patient care and opportunities for professional growth.

We welcome experienced pediatric nurses as well as LPNs with strong clinical backgrounds who are interested in transitioning into pediatric private-duty nursing.

PRN, part-time and full-time opportunities will be available based on patient needs and scheduling availability.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized, one-on-one skilled nursing care to medically complex pediatric patients in their homes.
Perform nursing interventions according to physician orders and individualized plans of care.
Provide tracheostomy care, ventilator support, G-tube feedings and other specialized nursing interventions based on qualifications and patient needs.
Monitor patients and promptly report changes in condition.
Maintain accurate and timely electronic clinical documentation.
Collaborate with families, physicians and the RN Clinical Supervisor.
Follow established clinical protocols, infection prevention procedures and professional nursing standards.

Qualifications

Active, unrestricted Georgia LPN license.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Pediatric nursing experience preferred.
Experience with tracheostomy care, ventilators, G-tubes, enteral feedings and other medically complex conditions is highly desirable.
PICU, NICU, ICU, home health or private-duty nursing experience is a plus.
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a home-care setting.
Willingness to complete required orientation and patient-specific competency training.
