Highland Health Systems is seeking a compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner with psychiatric specialization to join our growing behavioral health team in Anniston, Alabama. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide integrated primary and behavioral healthcare to individuals and families across Calhoun and Cleburne Counties.

Our organization is a mission-driven community mental health center currently transitioning to the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model, expanding access to whole-person, integrated care. As part of our team, you will work alongside psychiatrists, therapists, nurses, and case managers to deliver coordinated care that truly impacts lives.

What You’ll Do
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and physical evaluations
• Diagnose and treat mental health and substance use disorders
• Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications
• Provide integrated primary care services within scope of practice
• Coordinate care for individuals with co-occurring medical and behavioral health conditions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to provide whole-person care
• Provide consultation to clinical staff, families, and community partners
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation

Qualifications
• Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
• Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification or documented psychiatric specialization
• Active Alabama CRNP license
• DEA registration
• Experience in community mental health or integrated care preferred
