Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse

* Inserting, maintaining, and removing intravenous lines for safe medication and contrast dye delivery.
* Reviewing allergies, patient history, and physical assessment findings with the patient and medical team prior to surgery.
* Educating patients and family members on post-operative plans and procedures.
* Assisting surgeons during neurological and vascular angiography (setting up supplies, passing guide wires and catheters, preparing sterile trays and equipment, handing over instruments and supplies, etc.).
* Monitoring for and addressing intraoperative complications (oversedation, cardiac arrhythmia, respiratory decompensation, acid/base imbalance, etc.).

To be considered for these positions, we require the following qualifications:

* Valid and active RN license in Illinois.
* At least 2 years of recent IR experience.
* Strong clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt to a dynamic and challenging work environment.
