Adelphi is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide private duty nursing services to students with documented health needs at school in Maryland. The ideal candidate will provide continuous student-specific nursing support during the school day and related activities.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Active Maryland LPN license

• Current CPR and First Aid certifications

• Pediatric, school nursing, or private duty nursing experience preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide one-on-one nursing care in accordance with the student’s Plan of Care

• Accompany and monitor assigned student throughout the school day and transportation when required

• Administer medications and ordered treatments

• Support health needs such as tube feeding, catheterization, suctioning, oxygen support, diabetic monitoring, and other physician-ordered care within scope

• Communicate with school staff, families, and health care providers as appropriate

• Maintain accurate service and health documentation

• Any other duties as assigned within scope
