In this travel/contract role, you can expect to work alongside supportive colleagues with a manageable nursing ratio of 1:5-6, allowing you to provide the highest standard of care. You'll be utilizing the Epic Charting System and will need to hold both BLS and ACLS certifications. Common diagnoses/Types of patients "What are common diagnosis's or types of patients that you care for on your unit or in your department?
" CHF, Cardiac cath, CP, pneumonia, chronic renal disease, COPD, Ortho, & Oncology (perm staff will administer chemo)
Nurse:Patient Ratios What are your nursing ratios? Mainly 1:5-6 for both days & nights on most units (once or twice a month could have 7 patients toward the end of the shift). Depends on acuity of patients
