Private Duty LPN Private Home North East Atlanta
Location: Atlanta, GA
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday | 7:00 AM–7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
Compensation: Equivalent of $32–$40 per hour.
Start: Immediate this coming weekend.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (RN will also be considered) to provide one-on-one private-duty care for a 94-year-old woman with advanced dementia in a pleasant and friendly private home setting in NE Atlanta.
This is a structured shift with a predictable workflow.
This role is ideal for an experienced nurse who prefers a calm, focused environment rather than a complicated high-volume high pressure facility setting.
Clinical Responsibilities:
Full assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
G-tube gravity feedings and monitoring per physician orders
Monitoring for aspiration, intolerance, or complications
Safe transfers using:
Sit-to-stand machine
Vital signs monitoring and documentation
Skin integrity assessment and repositioning
Toileting care
Infection-control and fall-prevention adherence
Communication with family regarding any changes in condition
Light housekeeping directly related to patient care
Required Qualifications:
Active, unencumbered Georgia LPN license (RN considered)
Minimum 2 years of recent geriatric nursing experience
Demonstrated hands-on experience with:
G-tube gravity feedings and care
Foley catheter use and care
Mechanical lift transfers (Hoyer and/or sit-to-stand)
CPR certification
Ability to work independently in a private home
Strong attendance and reliability
Gentle bedside manner and comfort with advanced dementia
This is not a facility position. There are no multiple patients, no call-light system, and no high-volume medication pass.
Schedule Coverage:
Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099).
