Rotating 8-hour shifts:

6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
11:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Weekend coverage and call are voluntary.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to provide perioperative patient care in accordance with AORN standards and facility policies. The RN will support surgical patients through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Responsibilities
Provide perioperative nursing care for surgical patients
Maintain sterile field and ensure aseptic technique
Monitor patient condition throughout surgical procedures
Prepare OR equipment, supplies, and instruments
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical staff
Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures
Document patient care and surgical interventions accurately
Ensure compliance with patient safety and infection control standards
Requirements
Education
Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program
BSN preferred

Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing and AORN standards
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment
Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills

Experience
Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience required
Licensure & Certifications
Current Pennsylvania RN License or Compact License
Current BLS Certification (AHA) required
Current ACLS Certification (AHA) required
